Naturland - Association for Organic Agriculture e.V. is one of the major international organic producer associations worldwide. Our about 140.000 farmers, beekeepers, fish farmers and fishers producing in 58 countries throughout the world are a living proof that organic, social and fair economic activity can reconcile the interests of local producers with those of international operations in a globalised world facing climate change.
To enhance research and innovation in organic farming, to raise consumer awareness on environmental benefits of organic products and to develop organic farming by smallholder farmers in developing countries, we are regularly applying for national and international grants.
In this context, we are looking for a
Project Freelancer project proposal writing
Experience in proposal writing and successful applications in funding programmes such aso International Climate Protection Initiative (IKI)o Horizon Europeo BMZ/GIZ and Foreign Development Aid agencieso Foundations
Basic understanding/background knowledge in areas such as organic agriculture, climate change mitigation & adaptation, biodiversity, sustainability etc.
Very good understanding of the ‘funding landscape’ and relevant networks
Proficiency in writing in English, other languages (German, Spanish, French) would be an advantage
- Support our team with the writing of project concepts and proposals
How to apply
- Your CV
- A presentation of your experience in writing proposals, which includes a list of (a) funding programs you are familiar with, (b) countries or geographical regions of the applied projects, (c) key topics of your proposals, (d) name and weblinks to the successfully funded projects
- If possible, a sample of your work
- Information on your daily rate and availability in the coming months.
Applications will be collected, and successful applicants will, if they agree, be included in our internal database. Individual contracts for specific funding applications will be agreed upon when services are needed. The first contracts are expected to be awarded in November.
