PROMOTION AND PROFESSIONALISATION OF THE VIETNAMESE ORGANIC UMBRELLA ASSOCIATION

The Vietnam Organic Agricultural Association was founded in 2011 with the aim of bringing the different players in the organic agricultural sector in Vietnam together under one roof. In 2018, the Hanoi-based association had 720 members including farmers, research institutes, scientists, businesses, associations and cooperatives.

Naturland's aim is to support the VOAA with its strategic development and enable it to offer its members an improved range of services.

As such, this project covers the following areas:

• Developing training content and materials on organic farming and organic standards (including e-learning modules) for various target audiences and delivering training.
• Devising strategies for organic value chains and networking.
• Delivering information and awareness campaigns to consumers
• Strengthening the VOAA’s global connections
