Naturland
Standards

Standards: Aquaculture

Naturland's organic aquaculture standards cover the keeping of fish and crustaceans, the culture of mussels, the culture and collection of marine macroalgae and the culture of microalgae.

Naturland aquaculture farms choose their location carefully and protect waters and surrounding ecosystems. They ensure species-appropriate husbandry conditions and pay attention to low stocking densities. In addition, they do not use genetic engineering, chemical additives, growth promoters and hormones.
