Back to overview "Naturland standards"
With the Naturland standards on ecological forest management, Naturland developed a concept for credible ecological certification of forest enterprises as early as 1995 together with the environmental associations BUND, Greenpeace and Robin Wood. Naturland's standards on organic forest management regulate all aspects of sustainable and nature-compatible forest management.

In Naturland's standards for organic beekeeping, the absence of residues in bee products plays an important role. Naturland beekeepers refrain from using residue-producing agents, work with organic wax from their own wax cycle and use only natural materials for their beehives.
